In Memoriam Page 7.

Kayla A dog is not 'almost human' and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such. The dog can do many things which man cannot do, never could do and never will do."

John Holmes

Beautiful Kayla, left us September 20 2005. Although you are no longer by our side, you are forever in our heart. You are missed more then words can ever say. We love you.
Claudia, Linda, Maggie & Sarah - your friends from Greyhound Rescue Quebec.
We derive immeasurable good, uncounted pleasures, enormous security, and many critical lessons about life by owning dogs.

Roger Caras, A Celebration of Dogs.

My beloved King. Left for the bridge peacefully and with
dignity on 17th October 2005. He took a piece of my
heart with him. Run free old-timer, until we meet again.

Frances Heath.

Holly passed away in my arms, September 2005,
aged 13 years. Kind, gentle and loyal. I miss my woolie bear so much, forever in my heart.
Rest well my darling.    Your Sue.
Abruptly you left us, no time for Goodbye,
Dear handsome Lincoln, our hearts they did cry.
We miss you sweet boy companion and friend,
We are honoured you loved us and did without end.
But now you will know how we cared and we loved,
A million times more it is multiplied above.
Then one day in heaven towards us you'll bound
Together forever,on god's higher ground.

This is Toby. We took him in on 27 November 2005
and he died at the vets three days later. He was just
3 months old. Who could let a dog get into this state?

Pat Senior.

I haven't gone and left you,
I'm here, but you can't see
How close I am beside you,
Yes Mum, it's really me.

Thank you for your kindness,
You've freed me from all pain,
I know you're sad, but don't be,
Soon we'll meet again.

Death is really not the end,
It's just a passing on
Into a world of brightness,
Where fear and pain is gone.

I'm free to run around and play
Just like I used to do.
Until we meet again Mum,
I'll wait here just for you.
